Prices for our all-inclusive creative holidays

Ideal for solo travellers:
Stay in La Chambre d’hôte Souriante or La Chambre d’hôte Lilas d’été
Occupancy of 1 person: € 995,-.

Ideal for couples or solo travellers who wants more space:
Stay in Gîte Albizia or Gîte Lilas d’été:
With occupancy of 2 persons, both persons participate in the creative lessons: € 1950,-.
With occupancy of 2 persons, 1 person participates in the creative lessons, the other is not*: € 1750,-.
With occupancy of 1 person: € 1175,-.

Ideal for solo travellers or friends who like to sleep under the stars:
Stay in La Tente Souriante or La Tente Artistique:
With occupancy of 1 person: € 950,-.
With occupancy of 2 persons, both persons participate in the creative lessons: € 1750,-.
With occupancy of 2 persons, 1 person participates in the creative lessons, the other is not*: €1550,-.

* Even as a traveling companion without creative ambitions, a holiday week together with your creative traveling partner at Atelier Souriant is highly recommended.

You can enjoy delicious meals and inspiring excursions together. While your partner takes part in creative sessions, you can relax in the peaceful garden or grounds of your gîte or tent. If you’re seeking adventure, explore the stunning landscapes of La Forêt Souriante. Past guests have found the area’s natural beauty to be a great source of inspiration for amateur photographers, hikers, and cyclists (both mountain bikers and road riders). You can bring your own bike or rent an electric one in Najac.

What is included

7 nights stay in one of the charming holiday homes at La Forêt Souriante.
7 times breakfast, 5 times lunch and 7 times dinner, all vegetarian home cooked meals.
Daily art classes, except on Wednesday
The basic painting materials are included. If you want to work on canvas or with oil paint, you have to bring these materials yourself. Are you unsure whether your material is included or do you want information about the materials: please feel free to contact us.
Extra afternoon activities, like visiting a museum or a lovely village, swimming in the river, hiking and/or picknicking
For transport during the afternoon activities or for drawing on location we can take 3 to 4 guests. We ask guests with a car kindly to drive these short distances themselves.
Good quality beds, which are already made for you on arrival. Generous amount of 100% cotton luxury towels are provided, please bring your own swimming towel.
Free WIFI in the gîtes and chambres d’hôtes and a good 4G coverage everywhere on the site, including the tents.
Tourist tax
The final cleaning of the bedrooms, bathrooms and living room.

What is not included

Transport to and from La Forêt Souriante, with the exception of train transfers in Najac.
Transfers from and to the station of Najac are free, we are happy to pick you up and bring you to Najac Station
Travel and cancellation insurance
Any entrance fees during the creative holiday week.

Before your stay with us

Take a moment to read this text below during your booking process.

Booking

1.1 Bookings can be made by completing and sending the registration form. You will receive a message within 3 days after registration. If possible we will confirm the registration or we will offer you an alternative. You can then finalize the booking by paying a deposit of 25% of the full amount or by paying the full amount depending on the date of booking. By booking, you agree to the terms and conditions, as described here.

1.2 The deposit or payment must be made to Atelier Souriant within the specified period, mentioned in the confirmation. The remaining amount must be paid no later than 4 weeks before departure.

1.3 The registration is only final after payment of the deposit or upon payment of the full participation fee, depending on the date.

1.4 Participation in the activities and meals is voluntary. Participants are free to opt out of the program or skip the meals. However, this does not entitle you to get a refund nor to a replacement activity.

1.5 Participation in the holiday week is possible for people aged 18 or older

Cancellation

2.1 In the event of unforeseen circumstances requiring cancellation of one of our all-inclusive creative holidays, participants may receive a partial refund of the participation fee under the following conditions:
* If cancellation occurs up to 8 weeks prior to the start of the holiday week, a full refund will be issued.
* If cancellation occurs between 8 and 4 weeks before the scheduled arrival date, the deposit will be retained.
* If cancellation is made within 4 weeks of the arrival date, the full amount will be charged.

2.2 If the participant is unable to attend one of our all-inclusive creative holidays, substitution is permitted. The details of the replacement participant must be communicated to Atelier Souriant no later than 48 hours after the cancellation.

2.3 Atelier Souriant has the right to cancel the holiday week if there are good reasons to do so, including insufficient participants, illness of one of the organisators, illness of the painter’s model or force majeure. In the event of cancellation by Atelier Souriant, the participant is entitled to a refund of the participation costs. The participant is not entitled to any other compensation or damages.

Liability

3.1 Atelier Souriant will do its utmost to ensure a good and orderly holiday week and to provide all the correct information.

3.2 Participation in the holiday week is at your own risk. Atelier Souriant is not liable for injury and/or damage of any kind as a result of the participant’s stay and/or activities, nor for loss or damage to properties.

3.3 Physical complaints relevant to participation must always be reported to the teacher prior to an activity.

3.4 You hereby waive any claims against Atelier Souriant for any injury and/or damage that you may incur during the holiday week.

Good to Know

4.1 The location, accommodations and grounds, is non-smoking.

4.2 Pets, although cute, are not allowed

4.3 The studio and the materials can also be used by our guests outside the lessons.
Please leave the studio and materials as you found them.

4.4 Drawing and painting is allowed on the site outside and in the studio.
Drawing and painting is not allowed in the holiday accommodations.

4.5 The final cleaning of the bedroom and bathroom is included in the price. We ask you kindly to leave the accommodation tidy. This means that all furniture and other belongings are where they were on arrival. This also applies to the garden furniture. Cleaning of the living room in the gîtes is included. If you’ve used the kitchen, we kindly ask that you clean up before you leave. This means returning furniture and items to their original places, ensuring dishes, pans, and utensils are clean and stored in the cupboards, and that the dishwasher and refrigerator are empty and tidy. Please make sure the trash bins are emptied, and don’t forget to take any glass recycling with you.
